Okay Folks...
Im going through what Ive identified as my own personal Mid Life Crisis and instead of the traditional Corvette or other Sporty macho thing on wheels, I ended up buying the following system to rekindle that spark my male ego is searching for...

Pioneer CDJs and Mixer
DBX Driverack PX
Two - QSC 5050 Amps
Pair - JBL MRX515
Pair - JBL MRX518subs

I was an old school 80's DJ who's somewhat back in the game but the Genre has changed to the Electro & Tech House style of music so my Driverack purpose is one, protecting those speakers from those monster amps and two, getting that rich "Bassy" sound I used to get with my old Cerwin Vegas and old schools DBX 120x Sub Synth/Crossover. Thus far Ive been able to tweak th PX to get a great sound but was hoping to get some insight from those of you who have been TWEAKING much longer than I have. All feedback good or bad is welcome... !!

Why did you choose the DriverackPX instead of the DriverackPA+?

That was my next question... "Did I purchase the wrong Driverack??"
It was an un-educated purchase fed by a recomendation.

I guess I wouldn't say you bought the wrong driverack, but if it's protection your after the DR260 is the one with brick wall limiters...

You have.'t told us what you've done yet so how can we tell if we can improve things?

Have you visited the "Start here" thread yet?

Or the FAQ section?

viewforum.php?f=60

There is lots of helpful info there...

The PX is designed for use with powered cabs while the PA+ is for conventional systems like yours. That's not to say the PX can't be used with unpowered rigs, but it's not optimal. The PA+ will have pre-loaded settings for your MRX cabs and probably for your QSC's as well. Basically you'll have to customize everything with the PX.

For a DJ type rig with only one (or very few) live microphones I'd probably have suggested Crown amps with the built in DSP's and perhaps not used an outboard system controller of any sort. Having the PX (or PA+) does give you more flexibility if you want to use your rig for live bands, though.

Hmmm... Got plenty of buddys with powered systems, thinking about selling the PX unit and getting the PA+ which is well suited for my setup. Only thing I dont like is the WHITE colored design. Wish DBX would have a color option for that.

While the PX was DESIGNED for powered speakers, (you can tell by the preset list  )it will most certainly do amp/speaker combo's. After all, the driverack has NO way of knowing if the speakers are powered or passive... It still has standard crossovers and slopes, just no alignment delay.

If however, you don't intend to bi-amp those tops then there isn't any reason for alignment delay for the tops. However, you DO have 10 feet or so of delay to use for top sub alignment with the PA+

The older DRPA was the same color as the PX but it isan't white as you suggest but almost chrome... brushed silver.

The DRAP+ has by far the best auto EQ algorithm.... and is much more "foolproof" where setup and auto eq are concerned.

As I said before, protection is the 260's game.
